How We Raise Our Puppies

Socialization

Our puppies are hand raised in our living room, handled by adults and young children many times throughout the day.  The puppies have been exposed to all the smells, sounds and activities that occur in a busy household to help prepare them for your home.

Medical

Our microchipped eight week old puppies are checked and vaccinated twice by a vet, wormed three times.

Training

  • Our puppies are litter trained starting at three weeks.

  • They begin learning how to use a doggy-door to go outside at five to six weeks.

Started Puppies

We train using positive clicker training methods in the Karen Pryor style.

  • Four to five weeks of additional positive training placed on your puppy.

  • At least 16 started actions for your puppy.

  • Ready to walk into the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class and wow trainers.

  • Automatic sit for being a friendly greeter.

  • Continue on vaccination schedule

  • Heartgard and Nexgard on schedule
